Return Visit from Çavdır District Police Department to Our Vocational School

Çavdır District Police Chief Chief Inspector Mehmet AKIN and Police Station Chief Inspector Uğur AKTAŞ visited our Vocational School and met with our Director Dr. Faculty Member İlhan UYSAL.

During the meeting, evaluations were made regarding the development of the existing cooperation between our Vocational School and the District Police Department. Especially, the importance of students continuing their education in a safe environment, increasing security awareness on campus and its surroundings, and raising awareness of the risks students may encounter in daily life were discussed.

Additionally, ideas were exchanged regarding organizing informative training and awareness activities for our students on topics such as *traffic safety, safe internet and social media use, cyber crimes, combating addiction, fraud methods, security in peer relationships, and personal safety*.

While emphasizing the importance of raising awareness among university students about the risks they may encounter, it was evaluated that conducting joint information programs and awareness activities with the District Police Department on necessary topics would contribute to the safety of students.

During the visit, mutual exchanges of views were also held regarding strengthening inter-institutional communication and cooperation to ensure that students can continue their social and educational lives in a safe environment.

We thank Chief Inspector Mehmet AKIN and Inspector Uğur AKTAŞ for their kind return visit and wish for the cooperation between our Vocational School and the Çavdır District Police Department to continue to strengthen in the upcoming period.
