Applied training activities conducted by the Social Services Program of Çavdır Vocational School are carried out throughout the academic year.

The activities were conducted in the Patient Simulation Room within our Vocational School. In the practical part of the courses, the role play method was used to help students develop their professional knowledge and skills. In scenario-based applications, students had the opportunity to experience social service intervention processes by taking on the roles of social service specialists, elderly individuals, disabled individuals, and family members.

As part of the applications, assessments of the social, psychological, and economic problems of elderly individuals, identification of the needs of disabled individuals, use of effective communication skills, development of a professional approach in accordance with ethical principles, and planning of appropriate social service interventions were carried out.

Through the conducted applications, students had the opportunity to transfer the knowledge they gained in theoretical courses to a practical environment, thereby enhancing their professional observation, analysis, communication, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the process aimed to support students' competencies in professional ethics, empathy, teamwork, and case evaluation.

The Social Services Program continues to engage in practice-oriented educational activities to support students' professional development.
