A Glorious Commemoration by Our Vocational School Students for the Çanakkale Victory: The Same Pride, The Same Spirit 111 Years Later

At our Vocational School, under the leadership of Lecturer El.. Ufuk DENİZ, the 111th anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory on March 18 was meaningfully commemorated with a theater and folk dance themed show titled “Asım’s Generation from Çanakkale to the Republic.” The program, which brought the spirit of Çanakkale to the stage, received great appreciation and admiration from the audience.

The theater and folk dance performance prepared by students studying in the Occupational Health and Safety, Social Services, and Elderly Care programs of Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Çavdır Vocational School provided the audience with emotional moments. In the performance titled “Asım’s Generation from Çanakkale to the Republic,” the spirit of the national struggle was brought to the stage alongside significant events that changed the course of history, starting from the Çanakkale Victory to the proclamation of the Republic.

Dr. Lecturer Uğur TOZKOPARAN, who also participated as a speaker in the program, presented a historical and strategic perspective to the participants with his presentation titled “The Eastern Question and Turkey's Geopolitics: National Struggle from Çanakkale to the Republic.”

This meaningful event once again revealed that the national spirit and sense of unity and solidarity carried from the past to the present are lived by the younger generations with the same faith and determination.
