The İŞKUR Youth Program applications have started

The İŞKUR Youth Program, initiated by the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) in collaboration with state universities, is an active workforce program aimed at increasing the employability of university students by providing them with knowledge, skills, work habits, and discipline. It offers participants both practical work experience and the opportunity to earn income.

 

A total of 1,027 quotas have been determined for students of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University within the scope of the İŞKUR Youth Program.

Determination of Participants:

 

The İŞKUR Youth Program applications will end on November 4, 2025, at 23:59. In case of applications exceeding the quota, candidates will be determined by a lottery held in the presence of a notary. Additionally, a primary candidate list will be created as a result of the lottery conducted in the presence of a notary.

 

The notary lottery will be held on November 15, 2025, at 09:00 in the Senate Room of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Rectorate.

 

Application Process and Important Matters:

 

  • - To apply for the İŞKUR Youth Program, individual member login to the İŞKUR system must be made. Candidates who do not have a membership must register in the İŞKUR Portal System by following the membership steps at https://esube.iskur.gov.tr/UserSignUp.aspx.
  • - The participation conditions, activity areas, training to be provided, application duration, payments to be made, and other details regarding the Youth Program can be found at https://www.iskur.gov.tr/is-arayan/aktif-isgucu-programlari/iskur-genclik-programi.
  • - Students with questions about the program can receive support 24/7 from İŞKUR's Labor Life Communication Center (ALO 170).
  • - Within the scope of the İŞKUR Youth Program, a participant's weekly participation time is limited to 22.5 hours and 3 days.
  • - Participants can benefit from a maximum of 140 actual days from the programs organized within the framework of the regulation.
    (For example, a student who has previously participated in the İŞKUR Youth Program for 60 days can participate in the program for a maximum of 80 more days in the new term.)
  • - Every participant continuing in the program is obliged to sign the “Attendance Control Sheet” for attendance purposes.
  • - Attendance in the program is mandatory. Participants, with prior notice to the relevant unit and obtaining approval;
  • - In applications with a duration of up to 6 months, can take a maximum of 7 days off,
  • - In programs lasting longer than 6 months, can take a maximum of 10 days off or report.
    (The total of leaves and reports cannot exceed the specified durations.)
