Program Objectives
The main aim of the Associate Degree Program in Social Services is to train qualified social service technicians who are knowledgeable about the theoretical foundations of the field of social services, can analyze social issues, plan and implement interventions at the individual, family, group, and community levels, adhere to human rights and ethical values, possess strong communication skills, and continue their professional development.
In this regard, the program aims to ensure that students acquire knowledge about social policy, social issues, and social structure, develop sensitivity towards disadvantaged groups, work collaboratively with public, private sector, and civil society organizations, and effectively use the technological tools required by the age in professional practices.
Program Goal
To train qualified social service technicians who possess theoretical knowledge in the field of social services, can analyze social issues, adhere to ethical values, have developed practical skills, and can work collaboratively with different institutions.
